Summer Camp
Our Counselors, Our Safety
Covenant Acres takes every necessary step to ensure the safety of each camper. Our staff is trained for two weeks from our safety and procedure manual. We have two trained-certified counselors in every cabin (each cabin holds up to 10 campers). There are 2 counselors to every activity and event of 15 campers or more. Because of this training, we are one of the best-supervised and safest summer camps in N.Y. More than 10 counselors are certified in First Aid and CPR. We have 3-5 N.Y. certified Lifeguards and a WSI (Waterfront Safety Instructor). During each week of Summer Camp a fulltime resident NYS Licensed Nurse is on duty and is regulated by the NY State Health Department. We are in compliance with the NY State health department regulations.

- Sunscreen
- Swimsuit (one piece)

- Money for Bubba’s Canteen (camp store)
- Camera
- Fishing gear
- Washcloths
- Warm sweatshirt & jacket
- NO FLIP FLOPS for walking
The following items are NOT allowed on camp grounds:
- Knives
- Firearms
- Fireworks
- Matches
- Lighters
- Immodest clothing
- Tobacco
- Alcohol
- Any illegal substances
- Radios
- Portable CD players
- Handheld games
- MP3 or any musical device
- Cell phones
New Summer Camp T-shirts will be available on registration day. Shirts are $12 each (reg. $15) and come in three colors.
Bubba’s Snack Shack & Cedar Gift Shop
At Covenant Acres the campers enjoy hanging out with friends at “BUBBA’S SNACK SHACK”. Bubba’s Snack Shack is filled with lots of pop, water, candy, ice cream and healthy snacks, as well. Every camper has an opportunity to visit Cedar Gift Shop in Cedar hall. Cedar Gift Shop has postcards, camp clothing, gift items and lots more! The average dollar amount given is $10-$15 per camper with a greater amount for teens. During registration and pick-up days we display all of the items available to your camper. This helps you to decide the right amount for your camper since snack shop and gift shop money is non-refundable.
Arrival & Departure Times
Summer Camp runs from Sunday to Friday each week. Registration Arrival times: 4:00-5:30 PM Pick up time is every Friday from 3:00-4:00PM A late pickup charge of $12 per hour (one hour minimum) will be assessed for each camper after 4 PM.
